Book Character Parade at Potter Gray Elementary! 

Students at all grade levels dressed up as their favorite book character and paraded in front of their peers, teachers, parents and special guests.

GT Students at state capitol

Potter Gray GT students traveled to Frankfort on February 6th for a Gifted Education Month Proclamation Ceremony. They were able to meet Attorney General Russell Coleman, and several state representatives.

Potter Gray Elementary National Blue Ribbon Celebration

Potter Gray Elementary celebrated their 2023 National Blue Ribbon School Award with a special ceremony on December 6, 2023. 

The students and employees, all dressed in bright blue, were joined by former staff members and elected officials to hear remarks from Principal Keith Brown, Dr. GlyptusAnn Grider Jones, Awards & Recognitions Information Officer with the Kentucky Department of Education, and Superintendent Gary Fields.

2023 is the second time Potter Gray has received the Blue Ribbon Award; the first was in 2009. Banners and plaques from 2009 and 2023 are now proudly displayed in the halls of PGES.
