📖🪓 Inspired by Gary Paulsen’s book 'Hatchet,' Potter Gray 5th graders joined local Scouts and volunteers for an Outdoor Survival Challenge. Students spent time learning to build fires and shelters, navigate with a compass, administer basic first aid, and signal for help. After visiting the stations, they reflected on how real-world survival compares to reading about it, identifying which skills were essential and which were much harder than they seemed in the book.
This morning we celebrated the latest BGPD grads! They've done so much for our students, and we're wishing them all the best on their next chapter.
Happy Birthday Mrs. Salmon! We hope you have a great day!!
On Tuesday, students at Potter Gray celebrated the retirement of crossing guard Betty Natcher with the City of Bowling Green and the BGPD . We celebrate her 49 years of service and say thank you for keeping our students and community safe!
